In effort to maintain creativity in the midst of the northeast winter, we set to craft a decorative piece on our largest canvas, the Pool Cruiser, by pairing nonnative evergreen Tineo with North Carolina genuine leather. Procuring the foreign wood local to Chile and Argentina sparked interest as its bark, along other trees within the Weinmannia genus, is widely used in the process of leather tanning. Visually, along with its rich orange and red tones, this particular piece features a deep, contrasting black vein not widely seen in such drastic form. Finished with a hand-embossed logo leather inlay and final-coated with our orange oil and beeswax house blend.
